What started with vino tino and tostada de huevos de codorniz in Barcelona turned into a full-fledged love affair with the city of Barcelona.
Vienna surprised us even more with an artist’s haven of a place, offspace, that we would have never expected to find in Austria’s capital.
After few stressful weeks hovered over the computer, we sojourned to peaceful Copenhagen and recharged at one of the city’s foliage-filled gardens.
Suddenly, we found ourselves with three more cities on our radar. Barcelona, Vienna and Copenhagen: countless of hours collecting, testing, and editing. We’re taking a little weekend vacation now—we’ve earned it.

As the city celebrates its third annual Fashion Week, we at unlike.net thought it might be a good time to share where we’ll be this week …
If you missed the supreme, rain-soaked Radiohead concert last Tuesday, worry not— one half of the opening act Modeselektor takes over the decks at Tresor on the 23rd, while old skool-legends Fetisch & DJ Kaos flex their muscles at Scala saturday night. So get on out there and be seen. ALL SHOWS. ALL COLORS. ALL GOSSIP. ALL ACCESS.
But hey – if you´re tired of glam bam fashion jam, escape to one of these fine and recommended Berlin beauties …
Dr PONG Rugged little dingy bar in the heart of Prenzlauerberg. Looks like a teenage clubhouse with its minimal decor…
TENTSTATION This campsite in the center of Berlin is surrounded by mother nature, but a mere 5 minutes walk from Berlin Hbf station. This is urban adventure at a literally grass roots level…
MOVIEMENTO When this Kreuzberg theater opened in 1907 (as the Vitascope), cinema was in its infancy and Berlin was one of the new media production centers. Classic and contemporary films daily here…
COMPUTER GAMES MUSEUM Quite possibly the only museum dedicated to computer games in Germany. Opened a permanent collection in 1997, but downsized to temporary exhibitions and events by 2000 …

Thanks to a wellknown uneasy airline i got stuck in Copenhagen ...
BUT yes, finally it turned out to be good decision

After spending a night in a japanese-style capsule-sized
micro-room at Mission Hostellette Nebu
and a great lazy family-sunday with local friends
I decided to take the night-train back to Berlin (via Malmoe).

Ex-East German Communist Party HQ is about to become the new Berlin Posh Club.
To be opened in spring 2009.
The hulking Bauhaus structure in Prenzlauer Berg – soon to be the newest incarnation from our friends at Soho House – was originally abused by Nazi officials to coordinate Hitler Jugend. After World War II, the Communist Party moved in, making the building their own HQ and giving it the charmingly Orwellian name ‘House of Unity’.
Soho House founder Nick Jones intends to convert the place into a stylish castle for Euro elites, complete with trademark SH rooftop pool and a 42-seat cinema. So much thrilling history to relish while enjoying a fine cocktail in the lounge …
and how about historic karma issues?
We´ll have an eye on the further construction stages and will partner with Soho House for pre-launch events. Stay tuned on blog.unlike and unlike events for upcoming gossip and news …

Custom made. Individual handwork wherever you look. Some of the 30 rooms are hard to handle, some are rather tame. Special instructions accompany your room key. This is truly a new accommodation experience.

Just a 12hours trainride for me, but a huge step in terms of living culture.
From fast paced Berlin to laidback Vienna. Burenwurst instead of Curry,
pink baroque instead of concrete socialism.
Meeting viennese based editors means spending hours and hours in yes, it´s still allowed to smoke coffeehouses, talking, discussing and having one-after-another Grosser Brauner mit Schlag.
Servas! Will keep you updated …
